2. A shower is a marvelous thing and never to be taken lightly.
3. Talking and laughing about regular frivolous things is a tonic to my soul.
4. Every now and then I give myself a gift- I only talk about regular frivolous things.
5. Life is best enjoyed one day at a time.
6. I am thinking of a new look--the cloche hat with dangly earrings. Google it!
7. I am really fortunate--my daughter is a bookaholic and has bought lots of good books that I can read. I'll be taking advantage of that over the next number of months.
8. Getting cards from people I don't even know who tell me they are praying for me is just amazing. The Christian community is bigger than we think.
9. I am blessed beyond measure to be a part of such an amazing family. What a wonderful gift!

We got a card I forgot to show you from Appalachian Bible College's finacial aid department. I had been on the phone with them on the way to the hospital, and then was in contact again later. They sent a card which said, in very pretty handwriting,
