I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.

It amuses me...
It amuses me to watch our cat lay on her back and view the world upside down. She looks like she is really enjoying herself as she lays there and stares up at us upside down. It makes me chuckle because I wonder what she is seeing. It amuses me to read a book just for the joy of reading. That doesn't happen as often as I would like...but maybe it should. I think it would be good to get a library card and actually use it. It amuses me to read everyone's blog. I start to have withdrawals when people don't write for long periods of time. It amuses me to share my space with my family. I get so much joy from just sitting around and laughing together. These are moments I cherish. I am a blessed lady and I know it. It's good to do this every now and then...to think about the things that amuse us and write them down.

It never amuses me to share my space, with anyone ;) But it does amuse me to read your blog and know what a sweet Mama I am blessed to have!
Uh,oh. Did I read "our" cat? Is Cindy ready to give up one of her family members? Have you just adopted these cute little guys?
Well, it is a great little system, this blog thing. It is very nice to read all of your thoughts, and I'm sure it is freeing to put them down in writing. Maybe one fine day, I'll have to try it.
Anyway, tomorrow's the big day, Me, and you can rest assured that we are praying for a speedy surgery and no cancer in the lymph glands, and that your surgery will be at the hospital of your choice! C
