I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.

Day Four
Ok, it's day four and I am still without a shower. Can I just say, that I am considering just cutting my hair rather than worry about shampooing. It is that bad. But you know, I am beginning to embrace this whole no shower thing. I don't have nearly as many towels to wash--not that I'm doing laundry, of course! My time is spent lounging rather than worrying about when I have to get ready for something. I am embracing a minimalist life style and have cut down on the number of clothing choices that I encounter. After all, my time is spent lounging and really, do you have to be concerned with clothing choices when one is just lounging? I think I could get used to my meals magically appearing on the table and then, the dishes magically disappearing. Can it get any better than that? If they all knew just how well I am feeling, these things might go away. So for now, (cough, cough) I think I'll just keep this information to myself. Mums the word everyone!

Dear Madam,
This letter is to notify you that your membership at Spa de la Recovery will be ending at close of business Friday, June 20th. Unfortunately, we have noticed that your expenses have run out. Thus, your option is to begin the work/eat program. The sponges are under the sink and laundry detergent beside the washing machine. Please review the bill that has been placed under the door to your suite. You can contact the owner for payment.
Sincerely,
President and Member
Spa de la Recovery
Dear Laughing Quietly to Myself,
After careful review of your account, we have discovered that "lounging" is not covered in your current plan. If, however, you mean to suggest that "recovery" is the process currently taking place, then you can rest assured that any and every service will be available to you. Rhetoric, in this case word choice, often has significance in one's at-home treatment.
Treatment Manager
It seems pretty pathetic that, after only four days, management is ready to kick you out, ME, for a simple matter such as billpaying. What is this world coming to???? :) I only wish I could be on the management team and help with the towel washing or dishwashing or any and every service. When we return, I want to do some of them, if you'd like me to. I'm glad you got your hair washed; that has to help even if you have eschewed showering! C
Dear Carla,
I would say that current conditions in which your living have probably put you down as one of the greenest people around. No shower, minimal clothing as well as minimal washing of clothe's.
Your carbon footprint is shrinking considerably.
Stay on this path and year's from now you will have your own show on the green network teaching other's how to live on the bare essential's.
You can make a bar of soap last how long.?
Then there is the hair, if the movement catch's on with the majority of women, the money they would save on shampoo's, conditioner's and hair styling product's could bring the hair product industry to there knee's. Wash hair and body no more than twice a month, and only if absolutley neccessary.
You could invent a whole line of body and hair product's with just this purpose in mind.
Or you could make one product to do both hair and body, highly concentrated. No need to lather, rinse and repeat.
Enjoy your time of being waited on, sound's like the staff is getting restless.
Love Sooz
