I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.

Waiting for inspiration
It's time to write a new blog because I am tired of looking at the same old one which has been up for days now. So I am sitting out on the porch waiting for some inspiration, some story from the week, some incident that happened that says that I have interesting things to tell. So far nothing is coming to mind. Which is really irritating since I'm sure that I am more interesting than that. But this week was just a regular week. I have those occasionally. Work was busy but uneventful. Life around work was a joy as I got to spend time with my best friend. I got to call my brother and wish him a happy birthday. He turned 54 this week. Which boggles the mind of course. It's hard to comprehend sometimes that we are all getting that old. But there it is. My other brother and his wife are coming up to spend the week and my parents are coming down. But the joy of the week is that I was able to spend it with Bill and talk to my kids and cheer them on through this thing called life. What more can I ask or want from my week? It was full and overflowing with so many blessings that I could not begin to count them. The Lord is truly good! Blessed be the name of the Lord!
