Florida comes with many things that are staples in life...soul-satisfying coffee with creamer, miracle whip, premium crackers and Sonny's. Now, I can get the coffee with creamer, miracle whip and premium crackers at just about any grocery store in the United States. But the Sonny's...that is only found in certain places and Florida is thankfully, one of those places. Just the other day we enjoyed the well-priced special of all-you-can-eat pork and chicken, just 7.99. What a deal! And the chicken at our Sonny's in Sanford is smoked to perfection. We got the end cuts of the pork so it was just the way we liked it. That combined with crispy fries (the best of any restaurant anywhere), cold, sweet cole slaw, and a special side...corn on the cob, made it a truly wonderful culinary experience. Yup, Sonny's is a staple, one of those places that always satisfies, that always reminds me of home. Thank you, Sonny's.
