I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.

Friends!
We got together last night with three other couples who we basically grew up with. These are the folks that we knew in our 20's and early 30's...when all of our kidos were little tykes. We have a history, we know the same groups of people. These are the folks that called and emailed and prayed for us as we moved through this journey called cancer. Conversation flowed easily, stories were told, memories remembered. We laughed through the whole evening and the evening went well into the night. The time just flew. We are blessed to have these people in our lives and I thank the Lord for each one of them. They are an elixir to the soul.
