It amuses me...

Well, it's been a month or more since I wrote my last blog titled this way.  I just re-read it and decided to take my own advice and view my world from the angle of seeing things that amuse me:
It amuses me to read a book just for the pleasure of it...I got to do that yesterday as I traveled with my husband and my brother.  I got to sit in the back and read while they sat in the front and kept up a running conversation.  My how time flies when you read while traveling.  It amuses me to watch my brother being greeted by his two VERY excited dogs who were overjoyed to see him after he had been gone for a week.  I don't think it would amuse me if they were MY dogs jumping around...but he seemed to enjoy their enthusiasm so that is good!  It amuses me to have a nice meal with them, one that was graciously prepared for us by my brother's wife on very short notice- thank you, thank you! It was so nice spending the time with you.  It amuses me to watch our daughter's two cats lounging lazily around, stretching lazily,  walking lazily through the house, sleeping lazily...do you get the picture? It amuses me to sit on the porch and enjoy a lively conversation with my family.  My how I love the laughter and the sharing.  I think we need to always look for the things in life that amuse us and share them with others.  It does a heart good!

"I concur!" My toes are just recovering from the multitudes of attention that was provided by the dynamic canine duo. I haven't received that much attention since I used to return from a long business trip with three bags of M&Ms hidden in my front pocket. I'm convinced I heard one of the critters yell, "Daddy's Home, Daddy's Home!"

What did you read? It amuses me to read about what amuses you!!! You are a blessing! Also, you obviously need a cat of your very own. I'll duck so Rhetorman doesn't connect when he smacks me!! :) See you soon, with an appetite! C

Pow! Smack! Bam!

*Notice the Batman-like action used to combat "Cs" suggestion. There's no "Cat"-woman for the RhetorMan.
