1) Walking makes you feel good...even if it doesn't necessarily feel good while you are in the process of walking, you definitely feel better afterwards.
2) You CAN walk around the entire outside of a mall...you just have to put one foot in front of the other until you find yourself back at your car.
3) You should ALWAYS carry water with you when you are walking in 95 degree heat...no matter what time of the day it is.
4) Getting 52.8 miles per gallon is really cool!
5) Being able to spend time with my daughter is a blessing I cherish.
6) Sitting in lazyboy chairs with your feet up is the way to go.
7) Paved roads even more so!
8) Panera nearby is crazy busy--you would never know there is a recession going on.
9) Thai food is delicious!
10) I am so lucky to be able to spend my life with my best friend. This journey with him is the best!

Geeeez...I told you to blog, not get me all kaflempt ;) I love reading your thoughts....ok so here's #11: I'm about the luckiest girl in the world to have a mom as wonderful and fun as you!!
#12: Keep a positive attitude as you encourage your friend to walk around the "outside" of the mall when a "heat advisory" is announced by the weather man.
#13: Enjoy the "process" of life together. Find joy in the smallest of things, like walking during a "heat advisory."
#14: A trip to Publix can be a fun adventure, but remember you may have to walk across the entire parking lot to get the car parked by the Panera Bread, because it seemed like a healthy thing to walk rather than move the car--even when a "heat advisory" is in effect.
#15: At -321 degrees, liquid nitrogen makes a sizzling sound when it touches your skin, similar to the sound you get when you walk outside during a "heat advisory."
Walking, even during a heat advisory, is a wonderful thing!!! Hot and sticky, yes, but wonderful none-the-less. Walking from the stove to the sink unassisted is also wonderful, especially while carrying something like a glass of water or a cup of tea. I MISS walking!!!
Loved the blog! C
