Contrary to boring....

Wow, after reading a certain blog about the boring in her life, I'm feeling really good about myself.  My life is far from boring...here's just a sample:
1.  Woke up at 6:30 a.m. and stretched- it's Saturday, I can do that.
2.  Made some really delicious Ethiopian Sidamo and had a cup while sitting on the couch watching yet another feel good movie.
3.  Put a load of laundry in and swept the floor, so I'm feeling very productive!
4.  Checked my facebook and saw that nothing had changed and no one was on...that's probably good since too much excitement in one's life can be hazardous.
5.  Wrote in my journal- my equivalent to punching a bag or screaming into a pillow.  It's a workout I know but well worth it.
6.  Checked the blogs and saw that Grandma had joined the world of blogging again.  This is good!
7.  Sat on the porch in the sun and watched the world go by.  Things are happening out there!
My life is a plethera of excitement.  I have to sit down and rest every now and then just because of how busy I am.  I know...you envy me, too, don't you?

When I grew up, bored was a dirty word we were never allowed to use. Even today, I don't like saying it. I am glad, and not surprised, that you are not bored. Your Saturday sounds delightful, and I am thrilled it was warm enough to sit on the porch!!! Was carnivour kitty, or its more pleasant name kitty, out there? Wish we were sitting there with you. That would be nice!
It was great eating lunch with you recently, and as always sooooo much fun!!! Take care. c

There are days when life is very uneventful, and then there are days went it goes like a whirl wind. I guess we need both to re-charge our batteries and to use all that energy that is stored up. It's always fascinating to see what can amuse us at the time. For me sitting on the porch or around the bon fire in the backyard, you just watch nature at it's finest. I can find great contentment in that.
