The next time you see me, I will be sporting a brand new pair of Z/2 Unaweep Zebra Aqua chacos complete with my all time favorite toe loop and back strap...in a beautiful color that is as close to turquoise as they make. There is something about a new pair of chacos! Now, my old pairs of chacos are still good...in spite of the fifteen years or so of wearing them. They just never wear out. But, I must admit, this new pair is wonderful. Even better because they were a surprise gift from my wonderful husband of 33 years. And because in the years since I have gotten a pair, Chacos has come out with some beautiful new colors. So, even though the weather is still rather cool and in spite of the fact that it is still really too chilly to wear sandals, I will be wearing these! Thank you, Dear Husband, it was the perfect gift!

My toes are freezing but I'm wearing chacos

There is something about venturing out and forcing yourself into sandals even though it is still snowing off and on during the day and down past freezing at night. I am the same way, come on you can do it mind over matter. Just don't think about your toes turning blue. We will still have frosts until mid june, and before we know it the snow will start to fly once again. So it's now or take a chance and miss the season all together.
