Oh yes, it was good!

Yes, it was everything I have dreamed, imagined, thought about, and waited for.  Thanksgiving dinner! Juicy roasted turkey, deep fried turkey, delicious baked ham, green bean casserole, dressing, stuffing, olives, pickled beets, candied sweet potatoes, cranberry salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, butter and homemade jelly, pecan pie, and pumpkin pie.  A feast befitting the occasion.  A celebration! And it all tasted amazing.  Every succulent bite.  I appreciated the hands that prepared the food.  I loved visiting with family.  I enjoyed the pleasure of eating such delicious fare and being able to taste it!  I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and sitting around the table expounding on important and not so important topics.  What joy! Thank you, Lord, for this day and this moment in time.   Thank you for allowing me to be able to enjoy this day.  Thank you, Family, for making it a wonderful day.  How blessed we are!

Dearest ME, yes, it was everything wonderful!!!! I enjoyed every single moment of it, every single person present, while missing those who had to be absent for various reasons, every bite of the meal, all the conversation, (and I wish I could have been eaves-dropping on the "kids" while they ate, don't you?), the clean-up, and the tremendous joy of watching you enjoy yourself!!!! Thank you for all the dishes you did. You did too much of the hard stuff, which I feel bad about, but it made my job easier, and I hope was a pleasure to you, and not too tiring! What a perfect gem of a moment this whole Thanksgiving has been!!! I'm so glad you are feeling better, and we'll keep praying! C
