I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.

Then and now...
Anniversaries give us a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past, and remember the important things that make up our memories. Bill and I reminisced about what we were doing at this time or that on that magical day 35 years ago. We talked about the people who were part of the ceremonies and those that attended. We remembered those who are no longer with us and friends we have not seen for 30-odd years. We talked about the alligator sitting on the bank of the river we canoed on our honeymoon and going horseback riding. What great memories! And better still is the congratulations and fun conversations we have had with our kids this weekend (even Daniel threw in his two cents about Grandma and Grandpa's day in his special 18-month old way)! What a great weekend. And the best part...I have been able to spend the last 35 years with my best friend and most amazing husband. Am I the luckiest woman alive or what? Once again, I thank the Lord for allowing me to enjoy that day thirty-five years ago and this day, right now! What a gift! What a blessing!

Very nice!! It's funny to think that I didn't even know you on your wedding day! I'm sure glad that changed when I started dating your brother! :) I hope the two of you have another 35 years to celebrate life and your love together! Love you both, c
