There is something about going outside to your back yard and picking an orange off of a tree to eat. The temperature was perfect...a wonderful 68 degrees, the sun was shining, the skies were blue with just a few wisps of clouds, and there I was, sitting in a chair eating a just picked orange with juice running down my hands. But you know the best part? My son was sitting there, too. Thank you, Lord!
I have had the privilege of being married for 37 years to a wonderful man who has taught me the joy of humor and laughter. It's contagious, it soothes the soul, it makes difficult times bearable, it is a gift I treasure. May we never lose the ability to laugh.
