6:00 a.m. coffee and opening the biggest birthday card I have ever received. Hoops&Yoyo! I discovered a Land's End gift card from my wonderful husband as well as several other wonderful gifts that I will get to enjoy together with him. Those are the best!
7:00 a.m. birthday wishes from my beautiful daughter in Wales. She is doing fine and is ready for Little One to make his/her appearance.
8:00 a.m. birthday breakfast with the love of my life- delicious!
9:00 a.m. into work where the ladies there had brought in danish and coffee.
11:00 a.m. birthday wishes from Alaska! I got a chance to converse with my son and catch up with him. He, too, is doing well and hunkering down for the winter.
12:00 noon...home from work. I took the rest of the day off. Always a nice gift!
12:15 p.m. The celebration continues! Bill had another card and more gifts for me including a new devotional book, a big bag of my favorite chocolate--M&M's and an amazing kitchen tool to make my life easier in the kitchen. (Or maybe his life easier in the kitchen...hum???)
1:00 p.m. the parentals arrive. Birthday wishes all around.
1:30 till 3:30 cards with Mom and Dad. After a rocky start, Bill and I eeked out a win- it was my birthday, after all!
4:00 p.m. Dinner at Outback. My wonderful husband treated me to a wonderful dinner shared with my parents. Truly a delightful culinary event!
5:30 p.m. birthday wishes from my beautiful daughter in Florida. What a wonderful day to be able to talk to all three of my kidos in the same day. I am a blessed mom!!!
6:00 p.m. one more game of cards for the road. It was a close one. It came down to the count of the cards on the table.
And throughout the day, I was able to enjoy the beautiful, fall-inspired bouquet sent to me by Cindy. Made me want to decorate the whole place in fall colors! I love them! What a lucky birthday person/wife/mother/sister I am.
It was also wonderful to get birthday wishes from both of my brothers and their wives. All in all, it was a lovely day and one for which I thank the Lord that he allowed me to experience. Thank you, Lord, for your mercy!

We're so glad you had a lovely day. When I talk to all three kids in the same day, I always think of you--saying (and meaning) it is a good day when you can talk to all three of your kids on the same day. You are right!
We pray the year ahead is a continuation of your blessed birthday! You deserve it! C
